Paradoxicality's Shea Hand Smoother is our newest addition to the line, and helps you buff your hands to a smooth, moisturized finish. Whether you work your hands hard and have the wear and tear to show for it, or you just have winter dryness leaving your skin rough and catching on every fiber - we can help.

Our SHS is thick enough to stay in the jar at normal room temperatures and not spill if you just look at it crossways, like so many scrubs will. It will even stay in the jar if you turn it upside down and jostle it. (Please don’t try that over a precious antique Persian rug. It worked for me. It might not work for you.) It's thick enough that the sugar doesn't settle so you don't have to keep stirring it - but the teaspoonful you need will melt right to oil between your palms. It's truly a perfect suspension of raw turbinado sugar in a near-pudding of shea butter, sweet almond oil, shea oil, avocado oil, and jojoba oil.

Take about a teaspoon of Hand Smoother and scrub your hands with it. Buff away all those little snags that grab on silk when you try to spin, all those little winter-rough spots that catch on your favorite super-fine merino, and the scratchy bits you worry about when you're diapering your little one. Rinse in warm water, pat dry ... the nourishment of the oils stays with you. Seal in the remaining oils with your favorite lotion - or with my Shea Mousse, of course!
